Day 1: Commencing the Adventure – Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Ideally, your flight will land in Uganda early in the day, allowing for a seamless transition into the expedition. Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, our experienced guide/driver will greet you, initiating your journey towards Murchison Falls. This stunning park boasts the thunderous rapids of the Murchison, expansive plains showcasing an array of wildlife including lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalo, and elephants. Notably, the park is abundant with hippos and Nile crocodiles, an intriguing sight for wildlife enthusiasts. For bird enthusiasts, Murchison Falls presents an array of avian treasures with over 450 species, including the elusive shoebill stork, dwarf kingfisher, white-thigh hornbill, and the majestic Goliath heron.
En route, a detour to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary will offer an exhilarating hour of rhino tracking. Further, a stop in Masindi for lunch will precede your arrival and check-in at Parkside Safari Lodge, allowing for a relaxing evening.

Day 2: Exploration at Murchison Falls – Game Drive and a Majestic Boat Trip Embark on an early morning game drive across the park’s expansive plains, offering sightings of iconic species such as lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalo, and elephants. The region is a haven for birders, housing magnificent species like the secretary bird and black-chested snake eagle. Return to your accommodation for a hearty lunch, followed by a captivating boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls. This aquatic journey unveils more wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and a myriad of water birds. If inclined, a hike to the falls’ summit promises a breathtaking experience. An evening game drive back to the lodge culminates the day’s adventures.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transition to Kibale Forest National Park Commence the day with a morning game drive to catch glimpses of any missed wildlife from the previous day. Following this, journey towards Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for its vibrant chimpanzee population.
Upon arrival, check-in and refresh before embarking on a nature walk in Bigodi Swamp. The swamp hosts over 200 bird species, including Hornbills, Turacos, Parrots, and a rich diversity of swamp-endemic species. Moreover, the sanctuary boasts 8 primate species, creating opportunities to encounter Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red Tailed Monkey, and others.

Later, journey towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas.
